Little Explorers Day Nursery in Suffolk is set in a purpose built barn conversion surrounded by open countryside. The Nursery is located in Pakenham, which is 5 miles from Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. Little Explorers Nusery in Suffolk is managed by an experienced Early Years Teacher, who along with qualified staff are committed to providing children and their families with high quality care and education from three months to five years old.

Little Explorers Day Nursery provides healthy and nutritious snacks and meals and offer a stimulating environment (indoor and outdoor) where children can grow and learn.

At Little Explorers Day Nursery we operate a Key Person system. The role of a child’s key person is to help them become familiar with the provision and to feel confident and safe within it, developing a genuine bond with the child and their family, offering a settled close relationship.

Our aim is to maintain a close relationship with all parents and carers. We have an open door policy so that parents/carers are able to take part in activities and accompany us on trips.

The key person is responsible for recording a child’s development through observations and photographs. This is documented in a My Learning Journey. Information from parents/carers is included in the learning journey and it is available for parents/carers to see at any time.

Admissions

  • Little Explorers Nursery in Suffolk is open for 51 weeks of the year except for statutory bank holidays and one week over the Christmas period, we do not charge for bank holidays.
  • We accept children from three months old up to the age of five years.
  • We are registered with the Local Authority Directory of Providers which allows us to provide grant funded sessions for children the term after their third birthday.
  • At Little Explorers Nursery in Suffolk we operate an equal opportunities policy and we accept any child without discrimination.
