At Little Explorers Day Nursery your child will be offered breakfast, a two course lunch and tea and 2 snacks.
Meal times are social time, your child will be provided with opportunities for positive interaction. The children are encouraged to take it in turns to serve themselves and then to help clear their plates after they have eaten, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop independence.
At Little Explorers we use Nursery Kitchen, who provide us nutritious, exciting and varied meals which will broaden your child’s eating experience. Food is prepared at the Nursery Kitchen headquarters and delivered twice a week to our nurseries to heat up and enjoy. Dietary requirements are catered for with an alternative menu. Your child will have the choice of milk or water with their breakfast and snacks and water is provided with lunch and tea. Fresh water is always available for your child throughout the day.
