All our staff here at Little Explorers Day Nursery have a full enhanced DBS check, are fully vetted and maintain high standards through continuous professional development and regular supervision. All staff hold a paediatric First Aid certificate.

Claire qualified as a teacher at Oxford University and has worked in education and childcare for over 20 years.
Eileen
Senior Manager
Eileen has worked at Little Explorers since February 2013 . She has a foundation degree in Advanced Childcare Practice and Management. Eileen has worked in childcare for over 15 years and oversees both Nurseries.

Hannah
Assistant Manager, Oak Room Leader & SENCO
Hannah has worked at Little Explorers since March 2022, she is a qualified level 3 practitioner. Hannah is our Assistant Manager, the Room Leader for the Oak room and SENCO.
Katie
Deputy Manager and Room Leader
Katie has worked at Little Explorers since 2021, she is a qualified level 3 practitioner. Katie is our Deputy Manager, she will mostly be in the Oak Room.

Bella, Bonnie and Lily
Therapy Dogs In training
Bella, Bonnie and Lily are our nursery dogs. Bella joined us in September 2023, Bonnie joined us in December 2023 and Lily in July 2024. They are all very popular with all staff and children. They visit both nurseries, for cuddles and fun, they will be training to be therapy dogs.
