All our staff here at Little Explorers Day Nursery have a full enhanced DBS check, are fully vetted and maintain high standards through continuous professional development and regular supervision. All staff hold a paediatric First Aid certificate.

Claire qualified as a teacher at Oxford University and has worked in education and childcare for over 20 years.
Eileen
Senior Manager
Eileen has worked at Little Explorers since February 2013 . She has a foundation degree in Advanced Childcare Practice and Management. Eileen has worked in childcare for over 15 years and oversees both Nurseries.

Assistant Manager & Baby Barn Leader
Hannah has worked at Little Explorers since March 2022, she is a qualified Level 3 Practitioner. Hannah is our Assistant Manager, and the room leader in the Baby Barn.

Deputy Manager and Room Leader
Katie has worked at Little Explorers since 2021, she is a qualified level 3 practitioner. Katie is our Deputy Manager, she will mostly be in the Oak Room.

Imogen has worked at Little Explorers since August 2025 as a Level 1 Practitioner. She takes care of our cooking, cleaning and overall making sure the nursery runs nice and smoothly!

Niamh has been with us since we opened in September 2024, and has recently qualified as a Level 3 Practitioner! She is currently having some time off while she travels Australia and South East Asia, but will be returning before Christmas.

Bella, Bonnie & Lily are training to be our nursery therapy dogs! They like having cuddles and going on walks with the children, and can be found playing in the garden!
